Greg Winford joined VSS in early 2007 as Vice President of Finance. Thanks to his years of experience in key finance positions, Greg is uniquely qualified for his current role. Previously, Greg worked as a Controller for two fast growing multi-franchise, multi-state organizations - one a hotel chain, the other a restaurant company - and also as an auditor for a CPA firm.
In his current role as Vice President of Finance, Greg acts as a CFO and Treasurer for VSS and leads several key teams, including: accounting, sales support, IBM compliance and contract maintenance.
One of the hallmarks of Greg’s career has been his ability to help the organizations he works for successfully cope with rapid growth and change from an accounting and finance perspective. In recent years, VSS has experienced fast expansion and as a result, Greg has leveraged his extensive knowledge to help streamline and automate VSS processes in a manner that intelligently addresses this growth. His efforts are helping to maximize efficiencies, improve accuracy, cut costs and support ongoing development in order to ensure the continued financial stability of VSS and improve the overall management of the business from a financial perspective.
Greg holds a bachelors degree in accounting from the University of Mississippi.
