In June 2005, Clint Parrish joined VSS as the Vice President of Technical Services. Clint and his team are responsible for the technical deployment of the systems and software sold by VSS. Clint oversees pricing structures, heads up educational efforts with VSS partners and supports sales efforts.
Since joining the company, Clint has more than doubled VSS technical services staff, thus upgrading and expanding VSS overall expertise and the geographic areas the company can support. Capabilities have increased significantly since Clint’s arrival, thereby reducing travel and other expenses, which has translated into cost savings for VSS customers.
Immediately prior to joining the company - during the six years he spent working as an Enterprise IT Architect for a department store retailer - Clint was also a VSS customer. That experience has given him outstanding perspective on customer needs and wants - and he’s successfully utilized that expertise to create positive change in his current role. In addition, Clint has experience working as an Electrical Computer Engineer for a major university. He also owned and operated his own business selling computer systems and networks. What’s more, early in his career, he worked as a sales rep for an IBM Business Partner and as a Network Services Manager for a national organization of independent resellers of technology products and services.
Looking forward, Clint is focused on continuing regional VSS growth. He intends to add more skill sets and infrastructure services to the VSS portfolio and to continually improve the VSS telephone support help desk in order to save customers time and money. Clint will also continue to find new ways to pair up best-in-class hardware and software solutions with industry-leading service deployment to create total turnkey packages for vertical markets and specific applications.
Clint studied business information systems at Louisiana State University and Mississippi State University.
