Since January 1998, Candace has served in various marketing and sales roles at VSS. While selling VSS solutions within the gaming industry, she also performed solution installs, end user education and various marketing tasks for the company. Candace moved into a Marketing Director role for VSS in 2002 and became Vice President of Marketing in May 2006.
Today, Candace heads up VSS efforts surrounding corporate communications, event management, customer relationship management and public relations. She directs and manages all marketing, branding and tactical activities and maintains critically important customer, partner and employee touch points. Candace shapes the VSS strategic marketing vision and ensures it is consistently in sync with overall corporate goals.
Since taking on her current role, Candace has focused strongly on corporate branding, which involves creating and maintaining a consistent look and feel for VSS collateral, presentations and initiatives. She’s also made significant strides in fine-tuning VSS Velocity, the quarterly customer e-newsletter.
Moving forward, Candace will continue to focus on driving corporate growth; accurately measuring VSS success; creating - and continually improving - VSS websites; delivering bundled service offerings; increasing customer communications via news blasts, webinars, teleconferences and live events; and improving customer portal functionality.
In August 2006, Candace was nominated to serve on the Avnet Marketing Advisory Council. Her participation helps VSS build relationships with business partners and network with industry peers in order to gain valuable marketing insight.
Candace earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Marketing from the University of Mississippi.
